explosion test

Stylized Explosion test I did recently. Used unity particle system and shadergraph to create the necessary shaders. The textures are mostly done in krita and substance designers for tileable textures. Tried 2 different color version, one more arcane look and the other a default look

INFLATABLES!

Inspired by my baby nephew, I made inflatable animal balloons! 
Created using vellum solver deflating the original mesh and use that as the base mesh for inflation. I implemented the pyro source spread node to activate some areas to inflate first.

Watefall VFX

Modelled the rocks in houdini and then textured them in substance painter. I also created the bushes and trees in houdini and import them into unity. I created a shader to give the bushes and trees natural movement. 

Stylized Trail VFX

Had so much fun creating these. I use substance designer to procedurally create tileable textures for the trail. The rest of the textures were done in photoshop and krita.

Pixel style VFX


Inspired by the works done in IGG, I decided to try my hands on creating a pixel shader and applied it on some of the variation effects I did. 
On the left is the original version and the right is the pixelated version.
